Rev Linton Worrell

Linton grew up on the Mighty Miramichi NB and I have moved around alot. Now find myself here at QUC.

I began my career as a social service worker. Getting my diploma in Community Social Services from Holland College PEI and a Counseling Psychology degree from St. Thomas University in Fredericton NB. I worked many years as a counselor and with social service organization.

I decided to persue my call to ministry and found myself studying at St. Paul's University in Ottawa where I became a Chaplain with the Canadian Armed Forces serving the Canadian Cadet program. I received the M.Div. degree at the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax NS. and after I graduated I went back to Ottawa to work as a Community Chaplain and in Winnipeg working as a Program Facilitor/ Chaplain.

I moved to NS to marry my long time friend, the Rev. Shelley Pick. I began to help out with pulpit supply. Surprisingly I found myself being called to serve in Congregational ministry. I was the minister at Rawdon Hills United Church and minister with the Tatamagouche Pastoral Charge.

So, here I am at QUC. I am looking forward to seeing our ministry unfold. Together we will continue to create a strong vibrant church in our neighborhoods and throughout the world

Leslie Reid

Leslie joined us at QUC in January 2019. Leslie had a long career with the District Schools in the Valley for over 25 years. She says “the is the best retirement gig ever!” We are happy to have her!

Shae Lyn Clark

Shae is the person who keeps us clean and in good order!  When you come into the church and smell the furniture polish, it's because Shae has been here wiping and mopping and vacuuming!

How We Work With One another and With Christ

Like most organizations, we work within a structure of responsibility, oversight, and accountability. At Quispamsis United Church we work on a Council model, with several committees working on a variety of responsibilities like the Worship Committee which oversees all aspects of worship, or the Outreach Committee which works in our surrounding community to bring healing and hope.

ORGANIZATIONAL EGG CHART

There are other committees with important work, and you can see who is responsible for what by checking out our organizational egg chart here.

We do this work together as we strive to follow Christ’s way. Where do you see yourself offering the gifts God gave you?
